Lagat Winter Training

Bernard Lagat offers up some insight into his indoor training plans, as he gears up for a sub-13:11 indoor 5k.

He’s been running more strength oriented workouts such as:

8 x 1000 with 90 seconds jogging recovery

10 x 700 with an unspecified recovery

long tempos, up to 10 miles

Lagat still trains once per day and takes Sunday off.
