Alberto Salazar talked about Rupp’s all-out sprint speed:

I know he could break 11 seconds for 100 with a two-step start.

In the same article, he talks about Rupp’s post race recovery:

You jog off the track, and get into your warm down, and I got a massage set up for you 30 minutes later. And as soon as that massage is over you are in the ice bath. Proteins, carbs immediately within an hour of racing.
